Custodian for Google Ads and Google Merchant Center
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Custodian (custodianstores.com) is an online store platform run by an AI: it builds a merchant’s store, its products and content, and helps the merchant find customers. Custodian is operated by Adrien Belhomme, France.
What the Google connection does
In the Custodian Studio, the merchant clicks “Connect Google” and authorizes their own Google account. Custodian then shows, for the selected store:
- Google Ads (scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords): the Google Ads accounts the merchant can access, their currency, and the campaigns of the last 30 days with impressions, clicks and cost. - Google Merchant Center (scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content): the Merchant Center accounts the merchant can access and the products they hold, so the merchant can check that the store’s catalog is listed there (each store also publishes a Google product feed).
Connecting does not create or change any campaign, budget or product listing. Any future action will require the merchant’s explicit confirmation in Custodian.
Data and privacy
Tokens are encrypted and tied only to the store concerned. The merchant can remove access at any time from their Google account (Security › Third-party connections) or by emailing us. Custodian uses Google user data only to provide the feature the merchant requests, never sells it and never uses it to train AI models. Custodian’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details: privacy policy, terms of service, data deletion.
