Custodian terms of service

About Custodian
Custodian (also called Custodian AI or Custodian Commerce) is operated by Adrien Belhomme in France. These terms govern use of the Custodian web application and its connected-service features. Questions about these terms can be sent to adrien@custodiancommerce.com.
Your workspace and content
You are responsible for keeping access to your workspace secure and for the instructions, catalogue information, media, links and other content you provide. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content, including any rights relating to people, music, trademarks, products and advertising claims shown in it.
Custodian may help create drafts, organise work and prepare actions, but it does not replace your business, legal, tax, advertising or platform compliance decisions. Review the information and proposed action before approving it. Do not use Custodian for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, harmful or policy-violating activity.
Connected TikTok account and publishing
When you choose to connect a TikTok account, you authorize Custodian to request only the TikTok permissions you approve. Custodian uses the Content Posting API to let you send a video or photo from your Custodian workspace to the TikTok account you connected. A connection does not give Custodian ownership of your TikTok account or your content.
You remain responsible for the caption, privacy setting, audience, publication choice and compliance of every post with TikTok's terms, community guidelines, music rules and applicable law. You must not connect an account that you are not authorized to manage. You can revoke Custodian's TikTok authorization through TikTok or disconnect it from Custodian. Revocation does not remove posts already processed or hosted by TikTok.
TikTok may limit, review, moderate or remove content independently. Custodian does not guarantee that content will be accepted, published, distributed or perform in any particular way on TikTok.
Connected Pinterest account and publishing
When you choose to connect a Pinterest business account, you authorize Custodian to request only the Pinterest permissions you approve on Pinterest's consent screen. Custodian uses the Pinterest API to create Pins of your own products on the boards of the account you connected, with the image, title, description and link to your store prepared in your workspace, and to show you the results of those Pins. A connection does not give Custodian ownership of your Pinterest account or your content.
Pins are published only for products and a schedule you approved in your plan. You can pause publishing, change the board or disconnect Pinterest at any time. You remain responsible for the products, images and claims you publish, for holding the rights to them and for their compliance with Pinterest's terms, community guidelines, merchant guidelines and applicable law. You must not connect an account that you are not authorized to manage. You can revoke Custodian's authorization in your Pinterest settings or disconnect it from Custodian; revocation does not remove Pins already published.
Pinterest may limit, review, moderate or remove content independently. Custodian does not guarantee that a Pin will be accepted, distributed or perform in any particular way on Pinterest.
Connected Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts
When you choose to connect Google, you authorize Custodian to request the Google Ads and Merchant Center permissions shown by Google and to identify the advertising and Merchant Center accounts directly accessible to that Google user. You must be authorized to manage every account you connect.
The connection and account-discovery step is read-only. It does not create or modify advertisements or product listings, change budgets or spend advertising funds. Any future campaign or Merchant Center action requires a separate in-product review and your explicit approval of that action.
Third-party services and availability
Custodian depends on third-party services, including TikTok, Pinterest, hosting, email and AI providers. Their availability, policies, APIs and limits can change independently of Custodian. Your use of a connected service is also subject to that service's terms and policies. We may suspend or limit an integration where needed to protect users, comply with law or platform rules, or address security and reliability issues.
Privacy and ending use
Our privacy policy explains the data we process and why. You may stop using Custodian or request deletion of your workspace data following the data deletion instructions. Ending use or disconnecting an integration does not automatically reverse an action already completed by a third-party service.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms when the service, connected platforms or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules continue to apply. These terms are governed by French law, except where mandatory rules require otherwise.
